5 mile run at 7:30 minute mile pace

Tuesday - 10 miles

AM - 5.5 mile run commute at 8 minute mile pace


PM - 4.5 mile track session

Six sets of:


900m at 10k pace (followed by 70 secs rest)

300m at 5k pace (followed by 60 secs rest)

NB The full session for the group's quickest athletes was 6 x 1200/400


Wednesday - 0 miles

Thursday - 5.5 miles

Run commute at 8 minute mile pace

Friday - 5 miles

5 mile run at 8 minute mile pace
